Platformer Analysis

The game I will be analyzing is a game called parasite. The tutorial level is pretty straight forward, the player uses the the arrow keys to move around and jump. Which was not stated by the game it's self so that is something the player must figure out, which is not bad. Every time something new would appear a speech bubble would pop up next to the character as if the character is the one explaining what do to. The overall flow of the game is nice the player has to get the character to a get point to continue moving forward and the goal to find 3 checks points to finish the level. To make the level a bit more challenging the game threw in some enemies that need to be avoided. What I found interesting about the enemies is that not only are they bad for the character to touch, they are actually needed to get to the end of the level.
